Mark Bayless Pope is a Norse Pagan, or follower of Ásatru, the ancient pre-Christian belief system of the Norse people. Over the last decade, his faith brought him closer to the runes, as much as the runes served to teach him more about his faith. He has lead various religious communities, taught at several key events and festivals, and facilitated public rituals in Northeastern Indiana actively for the past five years. Mark is an avid outdoorsman, academic, and pursuer of runic magickal lore. He spends his free time studying, indulging in craft beer, and herding cats.
