Description
In the beginning, the Fae were created by the Aesir, (gods of war and knowledge) and the Vanir, (gods of fertility and nature). Told to create worlds for themselves and to create other species, they were not limited in any way as to the content or the creation. Humans were among the last of the creations.
Now after tens of thousands of years, the Fae still living in this, the Ninth dimension, have tired of their long-intermingled existence and with the exception of a few holdouts have removed themselves from all contact with humans. These remaining Fae, by intent or accident, once again find themselves in the mix as destruction appears imminent of the ninth world, Midgard, or Earth, the sole dimension of humankind. The Fae, of all species, have tried to remove, and save from harm, as many of the smaller fae and sentient earth creatures as they can to a similar dimension.
The seven billion remaining Midgard inhabitants of the 21st century are mostly ego driven and so self-absorbed they are oblivious to the catastrophe they are creating and the damage they are doing to their world. They continue on this destructive course even after messengers of peace and earthly respect and countless natural warnings were given to them, and now Gaia, the Earth Mother, tires of them. She will create balance in her new world, regardless of the consequences for mankind.
Do the Fae who removed themselves allow this dimension to destroy itself and start anew, or do they interfere, and by doing, so also reveal themselves?
