Hokyo Joshua Routhier began spiritual practice over a decade ago. Practicing everything from shamanism to Sufism, he is an ordained priest in the Hollow Bones Rinzai Zen order and has earned a degree in mental health counselor from Wayne State University, specializing in group therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. Hokyo is the head priest of Thunder Drum Zen, providing teaching and outreach to Integral practitioners and various spiritual communities in southeast Michigan. He also offers one-on-one meditation instruction and mindfulness consultation as the owner at Stay Awake Tutoring and Coaching.
