Fright Festival is growing! As excitement for the upcoming Fort Wayne Fright Fest continues to grow, other cities around the country have expressed an interest in hosting our event. We have decided to update our event name to Fright Festival as we continue to expand our reach.

Master of Ceremonies
Creator of the New Orleans ghost and vampire tours, he has performed his “Vampire Street Theatre” for 23 years as of this writing. He is the Grande Master of Ceremonies and on-stage host of several New Orleans annual vampire events including The Dark Cotillion, Endless Night, Fangtasia, The Mirror Masquerade, and together with Maven, Adora, Ross, and Alexander, he co-produces and performs the internet podcast show “Bite Me! Vampire TV.” You’ll find him prominently featured in the music video “Borderline” by The 69 Eyes as well as a promotional video for the upcoming Cradle of Filth graphic novel; “The Curse of the Venus Aversa.” He has appeared in several movies and numerous television shows including “Strange Universe, America’s Best Ghost Stories, Haunted America, and a cameo appearance on the second season of the E Network show, The Girls Next Door, and Netflix Dark Tourist.

In Memory of Rosemary Ellen Guiley
It is with great sadness Fright Festival announces that Rosemary will not be a guest at the 2020 event. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Rosemary Ellen Guiley. She will be greatly missed. I so enjoyed being her friend, sharing ideas and knowledge. I will never forget years ago how she welcomed me as a colleague on stage with a panel on vampires at DragonCon and chatted after. I was then and now in awe of her. Rest in peace my friend.

It is with great sadness we inform attendees on Dec 27, 2019 we lost another guest. Earlier this morning it was confirmed artist Tim Lawrence passed away. Lawrence worked on Ghostbusters 2 as a creature and makeup designer along with playing the role of Nunzio Scoleri. His work also spanned Howard the Duck, Starman, and Michael Jackson’s zombies in Thriller. He will be greatly missed.

Welcome to Fright Festival, one of the largest and spookiest events in the midwest. If you love Halloween, horror movies, the paranormal, oddities, or anything strange and unusual this is the event for you!
The entire downtown of Fort Wayne becomes a zombie wonderland! The Fort Wayne Fright Night Committee, the Downtown Improvement District, The Grand Wayne Convention Center, along with Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, is proud to support the Fright Festival!
Amongst the many events all over downtown is the massive zombie walk that flows directly into the Fright Festival Convention Hall. Join the thousands in full costume and makeup to take over the downtown area.
Enjoy classic and cult films and performances, live bands and acts on outdoor stages downtown, bar crawls with spooky themed drinks, strolling street performers and so much more through out the downtown area.
